  Campout Information and Registration

Cub World Campout at Camp Brorein

November 2-4, 2007

A Cub World campout will occur the first week-end in November at BSA Camp Brorein in northwest Hillsborough County near Odessa, FL.  The theme is Medieval Faire.  The cost is $15 for each cub scout and the first parent.  All those who plan to attend and camp out need to register and pay for the event in advance so that we can reserve adequate campsite space.  Let us know if you actually intend to campout or just want to come for the activities on Saturday.  The cost is the same whether you camp out or not.  Please register by e-mailing us your name, number of people in your group and plans for the week-end.  We need to collect the money as soon as possible.

Directions to Camp Brorein are given below.

• From Temple Terrace, take Bearss Avenue west onto Ehrlich Road.  Continue on Ehrlich Road until it ends at Gunn Highway.  Turn right (north) onto Gunn Highway.  Turn left (west) onto Race Track Road.  Turn right onto Boy Scout Road (north).  The entrance to Camp Brorein will be on your right within a mile.  Drive in and park in a designated area.  See the attached map.

• From New Tampa or Temple Terrace, take I-75 or Bruce B. Downs Boulevard north to SR 56 heading west.  SR 56 merges into SR 54.  Continue on SR 54 past SR 41 to Odessa and Gunn Highway.  Turn left (south) onto Gunn Highway.  Continue south until you come to Race Track Road.  Turn right (west) onto Race Track Road and then right (north) again onto Boy Scout Road.  The entrance to Camp Brorein will be within a mile on your right.  Drive in and park in a designated area.  See the attached map.
