14th - The Pack Picnic will be held on Sunday October 14 at Lettuce Lake Park from 12:00 to 3:00 PM.  There will be games and activities for everyone in addition to great food.  Each family needs to bring a side dish or desert.  The Pack will provide the hot dogs, hamburgers and beans.  Come when you can to enjoy a fun-filled day at Lettuce Lake Park.  We will take a nature hike along the Hillsborough River.  Adults should bring chairs to sit on.  Click here for more information and directions.

17th - We will hold our Pack meeting in St. Anne's Hall adjacent to the Parish Center at 7:00 PM on October 17 rather than October 24 due to a conflict with the Corpus Christi School PTC.  We will present Bobcat Badges to new scouts and Wolves.  Each scout is encouraged to bring in a carved or painted pumpkin.  We will have a pumpkin carving contest with prizes in addition to the mummy wrap game.  You can carve a real pumpkin or use one of those fancy fake pumpkins.  They may cost a little more, but they will last a lot longer.  Annual Pack dues of $20 is also due.  The second campout of the new school year will be held the first week-end in November at Camp Brorein.  Pack T-shirts are also available for $10 each and remember to bring in your crushed aluminum cans for recycling and earn a red vest and conservation patch.  We will be collecting them all year long.

3rd - Tiger Den meeting will be held at Corpus Christi Catholic School at 7:00 PM in classroom #1.  We will work on the Bobcat requirements and discuss the scout uniform.  We will review safety guidelines practiced by BSA leaders at Cub Scout events and campouts.  Please review the activities for Achievement #3 on health and safety.  Please bring your Tiger handbook and wear your uniform to the meeting if you have one.

3rd - Webelos Den meeting will be held at Corpus Christi Catholic School at 7:00 PM in classroom #6.  We will review the achievement pins needed by the second year Webelos.  We will also work on our Communicator requirements.  Read pages 166 to 196 in preparation for the den meeting.  We will need to find out who is going to MOSI on Saturday October 13 for the Engineer activity and collect $12.

2nd to 4th - The Pack will be have its first campout of the new school year.  We will be camping at Camp Brorein for a Cub World event.  The cost is $15 for each scout and $15 for the first parent for the week-end.  The theme for the Cub World campouts is Medieval Faire.  The activities on Saturday are planned by the camp staff.  For more information go to Cub World Campout at Camp Brorein.  Check with your den members to see who is going.

12th - Join us for the Veteran's Day ceremony at Woodmont Park in Temple Terrace.  The ceremony begins at 11:00 AM and lasts about an hour.  Be sure to wear your full dress uniform.

21st - Pack meeting will be held in St. Anne's Hall adjacent to the Parish Center at 7:00 PM.  We will present the Bobcat Badge to those who have earned it.  We will also have our famous turkey bowl as the main event.  So, get your bowling arms in shape.  And don't forget to bring in your crushed aluminum cans.

7th - Tiger Den meeting will be held at Corpus Christi Catholic School at 7:00 PM in classroom #1.  We will learn about being prepared for accidents while on a hike.  We will also learn how to make a treat for Thanksgiving.  Please bring your Tiger handbook and wear your pack t-shirt or uniform to the meeting.

5th - The Pack will continue its tradition of singing Christmas carols.  This year we are going to Everyday Blessings orphanage to sing to under-privileged children.  We would also like to make a donation to be used to purchase items they need.  We will meet on at 5:30 PM at Victorian Village on Fowler Avenue.  We will then caravan from there to the orphanage off of US 301.  We can return to the Olde Ice Cream Shoppe for a treat afterwards.  Invite the whole family to join us for this wonderful event.  All scouts need to wear their dress uniform and a red Santa Claus hat if you have one.  For directions and more informations go to Everyday Blessings Orphange.

December 7 to 9 - The Pack will be have its second campout of the new school year.  We will be camping at McGregor Smith Scout Reservation near Inverness, FL.  We were unable to reserve a site at the Hillsborough River State Park.  The cost is $15 for each scout and $15 for the first parent for the week-end.  Since this is another Cub World event, the theme is Medieval Faire again.  For more information go to Cub World Campout at McGregor Smith Reservation.  Check with your den members to see who is going.

8th - For those not gong to the Cub world campout at the McGregor Smith Scout Reservation, there will also be the New Fire District's Cub Scout Olympics on Saturday December 8 from 9 AM to 12 PM at the Florida College athletic fields next to their gymnasium on Bullard Blvd.  Registration will begin at 8:30 AM.  The cost is $5 per scout.  Come when you can and complete the events.  Each scout will receive a belt loop and ribbon for participating.  Trophies will be awarded to the scout with the best time or score for each event and age group.  Invite the whole family and cheer for your scout.  Please wear appropriate clothing.

12th - The Pack meeting will be held at 7:00 PM in St. Anne's Hall adjacent to the Corpus Christi Church Parish Center.  This is our Christmas Pack meeting where we have Santa Claus distribute gifts to all the scouts and their siblings.  Invite the whole family for this wonderful event.  Please wear your dress uniform.
